I leased/financed some equipment. Can I get a Loss Payee Certificate of Insurance?
Don't worry; we process these requests all the time. In order to process a Loss Payee Certificate of Insurance, you must have Property coverage in place on your policy. Additionally, the limit on the policy must be high enough to include the amount of your lease/contract.
In order to submit this request, please follow these steps:
- Log into your account here using your email address.
- On your account, click the black button on the right: Policy Changes.
- On the next page, select the blue button: Certificate Requests.
- Select New Additional Insured for a Certificate of Liability, or New Loss Payee for a Certificate of Property. Complete all fields for the entry and select Save.
- If you received any documents from the requestor or want to provide a screenshot or attachment of the request you received, you can upload it to the Policy Documents section at the bottom.
- Select Submit at the bottom right of the page in order to complete the process.
Once submitted, we will provide you the requested certificate within 2 business days.
